In the second quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation applications in Malta showed varied trends in downloads and user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at over 1.4K in early May. This was followed by a slight decline, stabilizing around 1.2K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent performance with a notable rise in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 1.5K in late May before tapering slightly to 1.3K at the quarter’s end.

Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs showed fluctuating download numbers, with a peak of 769 downloads in late May and a slight dip to 634 by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual increase in downloads, reaching over 1K in mid-May, before settling at approximately 776 by the close of the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares had a slow start with downloads dropping to 163 in early April. However, the app rebounded, climbing to 625 downloads by the end of June.
